Why this matters
Revenue can grow every month while the bank balance stays flat. The cause is rarely one big cost; it is a handful of small ones — under-charged shipping, stacked discounts, refunds, app subscriptions, fees — that each look harmless on their own. Without a single view from revenue to net profit, nobody sees how much they add up to.
The toolWhat Ecommerce Profit Leak Analyzer does
The Profit Leak Analyzer takes a month of revenue and costs, builds a waterfall from gross revenue down to net profit, and expresses every cost as a share of revenue. Each cost is compared with a rule-of-thumb healthy range for online stores, so the leaks that are out of line are ranked by how much profit they take. You also get an estimate of how much each leak could realistically give back.

Ecommerce Profit Leak Analyzer questions
What counts as a profit leak?
Any cost that takes a larger share of revenue than it reasonably should — for example shipping you pay but do not recover, discounts that stack, refunds, unused app subscriptions or fraud losses. The tool flags costs that sit above a rule-of-thumb healthy range for online stores.
Where do the healthy ranges come from?
They are general rules of thumb for direct-to-consumer ecommerce, not industry statistics for your niche. Use them as a starting point: a cost above the range is worth investigating, not automatically wrong.
Do I need exact numbers?
No. Rounded monthly figures from your store dashboard, payment processor and bank statement are enough to find the biggest leaks. Leave any line you do not track at zero.
Is my data stored?
Not for free previews: the preview runs entirely in your browser. Your numbers are not sent to our servers. If you buy the full report, your inputs are sent securely to our server to generate it, then deleted after 30 days. The finished report stays available to reopen and download for 90 days from payment, then it is deleted too.
How is this different from my store’s analytics?
Store dashboards report sales and some costs, but rarely subtract shipping gaps, app fees, write-offs and overheads in one place. This analyzer puts every cost into one waterfall so you see true net profit.
